EBay Purchasing, Square Trade, Refurbed Amps

Ok, so I was browsing through ebay for a cheap monoblock amp to power my subs until I can afford an Orion 2500. Anyways, I come across this deal:

I realize that it's Lanzar, and realize that it is not an Opti, or even a Vibe line. I do some research on here and find theyre somewhat over-rated and tend to break fairly easily, so I start to turn away from purchasing this item, until:

SquareTrade

In the middle of the ad it says that this item can be cover by square trade with a 2 year warranty. So for $165 I can have a amp that does 2000@1ohm (which is prolly more like 1400, but anyways). Has anyone used this squaretrade warranty? am I missing something? yeah, i've bought from places that offer that warranty through ebays as well.

i've always passed on it, because i assume they'll make you jump through TONS of hoops down the line if you want to get money back.

It's not money back, it's like an electronics warranty. They repair and send back.
