have any of you guys bought a car off ebay before if so could i have some feedback. i plan on getting a caprice ex-police car or a motocycle and get it ship by the DAS. i plan on paying with a credit card. is there anything i need to worry about before i start bidding

I personally haven't bought a car off of eBay and never would. However, if you want some advice about it, I'd say DON'T. You don't know who can trust on there anymore. Didn't you see and hear all those news stories about people who bought cars or bikes on eBay and never received anything?

I have bought a couple project cars off evil bay. It went real smooth, you pay with paypal/MO.. however you want, they mail you title or send it with car.. you register it in your state, get insurance on it and be happy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I always pay with a credit card because if they dont send the item, the CC company will investigate.

i family friend of mine bought a Spitfire 1500CC and all went well.........but she bought it from a private seller not one of those ebay dealerships

I am a major ebayer, and I suggest looking at the ratings first of the seller. Secondly if you can go check the car out. Many people now give the reports on the cars by insurance comapnies or appraisers and such. Lots of pictures help too! Just be careful and if it is too good to be true, then it is! Yeah CC companies will investigate if something goes wrong which is awesome!

My brother bought himself a Miata off of there, went real smooth. The seller was this middle-easter guy who operated out of a warehouse and said he sold about 30 cars a month on eBay.
