this guy cracks me up, I didn't even tell him I hit 50's with it, i said 40.9, but heres the message
Dear jad_man,
yes the bx1500d is a class d mono-sub amp they call "brutis" if i rember rite because i have one also. with the remote gainknob and mine lights up blue on top saying brutis, 4 guage power/ground and two 60 amp maxi-fuses. you can tell alot by an amp by the fuses it takes. i bought mine after maxsonics bought hifonice/crunch and one other im forgetting. anywho my point is that those specs you gave for R.M.S. per V/C arnt correct. im supprised you only hit 150 with it because with a tuned-port you shoulda been higher. what type of vehicle? my buddy had a firebird 80's body style that was an IASCA car but he still hit 146 back in the day with an IDW-15 Image dynamic sub powered by a U.S. amps cheeter amp. He didnt even build it for spl and that was back in the day. his car was built from the ground up with everything dynomat everywhere. that car won 3rd in the nation in his class and he was running a set of Image dynamic compression horns up front and I.D. componets. was your car a 4 dr?
LOL 3rd in the "nation", brutIs, dynOmat, lol
