I just thought I would share some of the ebay knowledge. Here is a quote from the seller concerning a eclipse 55430.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
"This auction is for a Eclipse 55430 stereo reciever for car/truck. One of the best stereos that came out in the late 90's worth $543.99. 80wattX4, yes volume will go up to 80(straight competion reciever)!"
This has to be the first time I have ever seen a individual assume that the volume was directly related to the wattage of the HU. The best part is that he goes on to claim the HU is rated for 8 volts and places two links that describe the deck. The links clearly state 13wx4 and 5 volts. Honestly, I could forgive a lack of car audio knowledge. But placing a link in your items description that contradicts you own post is pathetic.
