Ebay Kicker wire

how does the welding wire compare to Kicker? I don't need the flexibility, just need to upgrade to 1/0 sometime soon.

i really have no idea...

just have the link....

i got it from this forum...so im guessing someone here has the wire.

but the welding wire won't come with all this:

1/0 Gauge Dual Amplifier Power Kit

20 Ft. 1/0 AWG Power Wire

3 Ft. 1/0 AWG Ground Wire

20 Ft. 16 AWG Remote Lead

Fuse Holder

300A ANL Fuse

2 Distribution Blocks

5 Ft. 4 AWG Power Wire

5 Ft. 4 AWG Ground Wire

Direct Connect Engineering

Self-Adhesive Kicker Logo Badge included

If you just go by how much wire is in the kit at the price, it's $4.15 a foot. But, like polecat mentioned, all the other stuff you get with it.

Average ANL fuseholder with fuse = $25

That brings wire cost down to $3.08 shipped per foot. The remote lead, maybe $2? 10ft of 4 gauge wire at $1 a foot, $10.The distro blocks, we'll be generous and say $10 for both.

So, in reality you're only paying $2.13 per foot shipped for the kicker 1/0.The pieces you don't need, you can resell.

The 1/0 welding wire is smaller than the kicker by a little bit.So we'll take the average of the 1/0 and 2/0 prices (different colors are different prices) and say a comparable wire will cost $2.38 per foot. And that's PLUS shipping! So, really the kicker is cheaper.Buy the kit, sell the pieces you don't need (distro blocks/4 gauge).Because you'll still have to get the other stuff after you buy the welding wire. Not to mention the flexibility of the kicker, the looks, ease of resale, and the fact that it's actually oxygen free and won't oxidize nearly as quick as the welding wire. As you can see Kicker > all

The defense rests //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
