Unless you get outbid, you're depending on the seller cutting you some slack.

You can formally retract a bid, but Ebay and most sellers really frown on it, it's not something you want to get in the habit of doing. I think you're only allowed two, but I could be wrong about that.

go to HELP on the left there is '' A-Z index press that then go to the R --look for retract bib

not sure you can back out... I think that is part of the terms once you place a bid.... best to contact e-bay managers I spose.

i've retracted a couple bids. just use the excuse you entered the wrong amount and don't bid again. it doesn't give negative feedback, but it says under your feedback score how many bid retractions, but they only last 6 months

I backed out on something. I was buying a movie and found it from a different seller for cheaper. I emailed the guy and said I was going to give it as a christmas present, but the person went out and bought it themselves. He cancelled my bid with no problem
