how r these subs? i have never heard orion equipment b4. 500 rms sounds like they'd beat pretty hard though. hows the sound quality?

If you really would like to have a biased opinion then I will certainly give you one.

The woofers are really excellent daily beaters. Everyone that has ever sat in my car could not believe the incredible amount of SPL that is being generated by these things. If you can throw anywhere from 400-600 watts to these subs then I will simply tell you to hold on to your @$$ because you're in for a treat. I have been really impressed and I think that most people would agree.

I would have to agree. I heard six of them in Goldtaz1's car and it was extremely impressive!! We then built a sealed box for two of them and they beat very hard and had excellent sound quality as well. These are excellent subs!
