Easy ?

just because there is one channel, does not mean you can only use one speaker.

look at the specifications of your speaker. alpine type R's are usually dual voice coil. (means there are two speaker wire inputs on the sub, ie: FOUR speaker terminals)

so, use this handy little calculator, and put the info in.

you will have TWO speakers. and you will have TWO FOUR OHM voice coils each.

wow! that means, you can look at the amp specs, and it says 1200w@1ohm.

awesome! take a look;

this means that the viper1200.1 will be the perfect amp to give each one of them type r's 600w.
