Installing my CDTs again ... can't remember which wire is + and which is -

Both wires are gray, one with a white tracer.

Got a DMM? Are they hooked up to the speakers themselves? Most likely the one with the white is the negative side, but I'm use to seeing them with a black stripe and not a white one, so I'm not sure.

Usually a white stripe on a wire is positive (and black line is negative). At least that's what I've encourtered with car lighting and such in the past.

Guess I should've mentioned its the tweeter. The mid has a large and small terminal (Small is negative)
