Easy Question

Unfortunately I am unable to listen to these two sets before I purchase them, so I need your personal input to help me out...I cannot decide between the Alpine SPX177R and the MB Quart PCE-216 components...If it helps, I listen to rap and rock, and am wanting great SQ..Please let me know the differences in sound/performance between the two and also what each sounds like to the best of your ability....Thank you for any advice or information..

Quarts are all rock n roll baby...they are lively speakers. Install is everything, although the Quarts will sound good in a lot of applications - especially w/ the tweets off-axis.

I've heard the Alpines a few times on a couple of different sound boards and thought they sounded like *** compared to other speakers....they had no life to them and were very dull compared to the Quarts.
