Anyone know anything about this sub? My friend just spent an assload of money for it and an earthquake 10000W mono block. I think it's kind of a joke seeing as how he spent nearly 4K on the sub and amp alone. Oh yeah, he's not even going to compete with this. I have no clue why he bought it and thought it was a pretty big waste of cash. Seems like he could of spent half of what he did and still had one hell of a sub stage. He already had two 15" Earthquake DBRs

i used to have the older style red tremor 12s and a PHD2000 amp. and my current setup in my sig is wayy better.

The thing looks pretty beastly. Problem is it probably won't get loud until you put a ton of power to it. Say the amp he bought does 4-5k rms, it's gonna pull mass amounts of current. If that's all he bought, he'll fry the amp from low voltage before he gets the power out of the amp.

This is really pissing me off now. I get a call from him yesterday. My truck broke down and I want to get my box and amp out so it doesn't get stolen. Ok no problem. We get there and I realize how shitty of a job he did putting the box together. He took the port divider out, so basically it's a big box with a slot port hole cut in it. It seems like it's the right size, but **** the box is horrific. Then to make things worse he had to rewire the sub to 2 ohms because at .5 ohms it was killing his, stock, YES STOCK, electrical system. I don't even want to bother getting pics because he just isn't doing this speaker any justice. **** I wish he would of just listened to me in the first place. I can see it already, I'm gonna get a ton of calls from him because he can't figure out why his shit isn't loud.
