me and dad went to a local auction and ended up buying a brand new 150 psi compressor for $250 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif .. works great. havent tested out any of the sprayers we bought yet but we will soon as were painting a john deere we restored.

and my parents havent even bought me anything for christmas yet lol.. im either gettin a xbox 360 or a headlight to taillight wiring harness and a whole front end suspension / bushing rebuild kit for my car.

i used to have an old devilbiss compressor. iirc 6hp 30 gallon, i wish i still had it. It was nice.

Not to burst your bubble or anything, but my friend has the exact same compressor... the wheels busted off it, and shit is constantly getting thrown at it because it can never keep up with the tools.... i hope you don't plan on running a D/A or anything off it.

has enough cfm for a decent DA, enough for a spray gun, and a big enough tank for a decent amount of run time. buddy has one (but a 33 gallon) same CFM and all, and it runs perfectly. MAybe your buddy treats his like shit. usually things only run as good as you treat them.
