I have a stock radio in my 2008 Hyundai Accent,it's has XM/CD/with Aux. jack for MP3 player. The model is PA710S.I have installed a headphone jack connected to the speaker output wires. When I plug in my Koss stearophones Model KEB7CLRW with 3.5mm plug( F.R. 40-20,000 Hz and Impedance 32 ohms with 100dB spl/1Mw)The Earbuds get hot.I've been told various ways to fix this problem. I'am not sure the way to go.I,am 59 years old so my hearing is not like a 20 year olds. I want the least inexpensive components.PLEASE HELP ME!

You connected your headphones to your speakers? Even at 32 ohms, they're probably seeing a lot more power than they're rated for. And they must be crazy loud. No wonder your hearing is going //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

You connected a headphone jack to the speaker outputs? That is definitely your problem. Headphones/earbuds are designed to operate on a very low power source. The speaker outputs are way overpowered for your earbuds.

The only solution that I can think of would be to buy a portable XM/CD unit. The portables are much more likely to have the proper headphone jacks that are designed for headphones/earbuds.
