his raps are of being dirt poor for the most part and the things that are associated with being broke, i guess if someone isn't on that level, or understand, then they wouldn't be into his music obviously, it's all what hits you deepest.

Oh i wasnt saying you said that, i said its like saying that. E40's definitly one of those rappers that will only appeal to those near where he is. Mike Jones is kinda the same IMO, as i think he blows ***, but it seems alot of people think otherwise since he made it big.

the reason 40 is playing on the radio so much is because he picked up where mac dre left off on all this hyphy shit out here in the bay area. see, most people never even heard of mac dre until he died, then every white kid out here that was on the south lil jon/whatever else plays on the radio from there hype started buying every mac dre cd they could get there hands on, and started to listen to dre till you didnt even want to hear it any more. then, all these other artists come out of no where with this shitty music called hyphy/go dumb/ thizz and all the white kids gobbled that up like no bodys business, and thats where its at now, everyone sayin the bay is back with all this garbage music and all the artists from here rappin about the same shit and imo the whole movement sucks, i'll stick with my 2000 and earlier bay rap.

btw, some of my keys are not functioning since i spilt water on my keyboard, i lost both shifts all the arrow keys and a whole bunch more, so sorry if its hard to read..

most people who are from california ...and old enough to know e40 basically had most of his hits in the early 90s. not until recently has he really went mainstream, and IMO his old albums are nothing like this one.

Ive been listening to e40 since mid 90's heard all of his albums. I do prefer some of his older stuff, but a person will only stay underground for so long then they want more money. Like "you and dat" nothin but a club song and is there any club song that has good lyrics? if there is i sure as hell havent heard one.

completly agree there, ive heard very few rapper from texas that i like, i lived in texas for 2 yrs it hurt listening to the garbage they played. Z-ro seems to be the only one saying anything, and hes nothing more than medicore(sp) in my book.
