most people who are from california ...and old enough to know e40 basically had most of his hits in the early 90s. not until recently has he really went mainstream, and IMO his old albums are nothing like this one.

well they do release albums regionally, for instance most west coasters probably never heard or Milk D or Tim Dogg from that time period, and canibus was around for years before he got into it with LL. Only wetcoast stuff I listened to back then was Tupac, NWA, Short Dog, Quick
