e36 m3's

If you do the repairs yourself and don't buy the parts from a dealership it's really not that bad. I have driven them and they are amazing. Handle like they are on rails and run about 14 flat stock. I have had Audis though and the repairs are the same deal. I don't have the money to take it to a dealership or even a shop so I just did everything myself and it was reasonable. They are very reliable but BMW dealers will **** you.

Wrong car then, at least from a long-term standpoint.
eh...you can pick them up for fairly cheap, well i guess it depends on what your definition of "cheap" is, but assuming nothing breaks should be a pretty solid investment. Once you start having small problems that E36's have thought such as ECU errors, clutch/****** etc...then you might find yourself digging in a hole deeper then car auido...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

You people know almost nothing about these cars. Power steering leaks - $100 buys ALL new lines, from the dealer. Stock M3 rims go for ~$400-$600 a set used, in perfect condition. I just picked up my 4th BMW a '93 325is. I just swapped OBD2 manifolds and cats on it,a nd expect to dyno close to 200 whp with that, and a custom chip from TRM. These cars are incredible reliable, and dirt cheap to own and maintain. $50 water pump. $120 OEM radiator.
