Anyone know where to pick them up for the low? Im not looking to spend much, just want to pick one up to drive every once in a while.

Has anyone ever owned one, let me know your experiences with performance. If I do get one I will def be throwing a turbo on it sooner or later.

I had an E30 325 and the parts for that were high

I rember paying about $150 for a cap and rotor and $250 for wires

and they are really reliable but remember it isnt cheap but atleast the parts are more readily available than benz parts

Auctions would probably be the cheapest place to pick on up. Cheap overall will never be the case with a bmw. I had an e36 328is. I sold it cause the repairs were insane. 395 bucks just for a stock rim, lord only knows what the power steering leak fix would have cost me...

just buy the d4mn e36 and buy your parts here these parts are good and lower priced and the people there are great and shipping is fantastic

Mine ran 1k installed for my integra. Would have done it myself but needed the car pretty quick.

If you don't want to spend much, you'll be ready to give the car away when it comes maintenance and repair time....I'd put aside $10k just in case.
