and what is the rms ratings on the subs? Is either underrated or overrated??

the k-series are underrated. rated at 300 watts RMS and ben sent somewhere around 900 watts RMS and it took it all. i wouldn't recommend it though unless you are good with the sealed box design and the amp's gain, crossover, etc.. adire audio is very comparable in sound quality, but the elemental has more SPL (at maximum RMS).

what size sealed box.

below 3 cubes, 15k is a lil more ideal.

bigger than that, the tempest is at home.

the k15 would pound nicely with the JBL 300.1 the tempest would too. i'd opt for the JBL 600.1 though.

RMS on the tempest is around 700 watts RMS i think. i've seen 2 15" Type R's hit about 143db (ported), and a single shiva (12") sealed with about 600 watts RMS hitting 139dB. a Tempest or e15K would probably be louder than 2 12" if you get the right box (ported sounds nice ) where the tempest really shine is down around 30hz. very strong low end.

1.5-2.5 cubes sealed is good for the 15K. Ported anything over 2.5 cubes works decently well.
