E bay alert

The 10 ton pop war posted is the exactly what I have and will work well for you and a deal for 25 bucks but if money is not an issue I would get the 16 ton los33 posted

I've been using the 10 ton for well over a year and a half. Zero issues, goes up to 2/0 cable, small enough that you can use it one handed until the crimp starts to get tight. A buddy questioned how well it crimped, so we crimped a couple onto some 2/0 cable and hooked my truck up to his hitch...pulled his car without an issue, up a small hill. lol

we dont have a harbor freight here where i live, but are there other places that'll rent these out? I live in sioux falls, sd
its not really renting, its buying it for a day or two and then returning it in pristine condition as to not be a jerk

i dont know if there is or not. look for tool stores that sell them, just buy it, and return it later

I have one of these

Dont remember how many tons it is but it does a great job.

Only thing I will say is that if you really want a tight fit, you gotta use some muscle.

So some of you might not be able to actually use it. Bunch a wimps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fro.gif.c695f1f814b01c4ad99fe7f8cccadd29.gif

Ordered the 16 ton. I’ll let y’all know how it is.
Ok I will wait and see how it works out ? Kinda worried it will be hard to use in the car ? 95 % of the time it’s used outside the car so probably no issue ?

You need a flat and solid surface under it to work.

You can't do it properly without it being on the ground.

Only place you could do it in the car is the trunk(maybe) or if you have a truck then the bed will work for sure.

Should work better than a hammer crimper that I currently use so i'm good with that lol. Looks like shipping is going to be slightly slow though.

No doubt it will work better than that lol my ten ton really works great and is small enough to use in the car and engine compartment. But still interested in seeing how yours does. I am going to be making a bunch of new cables to add three more ppi 900 in the next couple weeks too. Decided to stick with ppi over going to taramps for the size being smaller

Going to bridge them all to two channels and have one for the ct2 tweeters I have another for a pair of mids ( looking at the prv neos ) and the other two will each run a pair of Anarchy’s and also got a Rockford DSR 1 processor to run it all so should be fun to get it set up and sounding good !
