Is there a product that I can use on the rear wall of my truck behind the sub box besides dynomat? I know there are plenty of products out there, but is there anything good that I can buy from Home Depot, or Lowes, etc? I do not want to spend a fortune on it. Thank You!

If you want to try, you can use this. I picked some up to test it. Its not very sticky, so youll need HVAC tape or spray adhesive.

Its not very heavy, so youll need layers if youre using it for deadening. It will probably work well for minimizing road noise. Its like ensolite, more or less. CHeck the roofing dept. at lowes, i believe they have some asphalt based stuff for decks, ask about it.

Peel & Seal will work if on a budget. Heat it with a hair dryer, make sure the surface is CLEAN, and be sure to overlap the ends. It's cheap enough to do several layers.

I used it on my car and have had NO problems after 100+ temps in the summer (in a black car even) and -20 in the winter. I check it frequently and nothing has come lose at all. Underside of the rear shelf is holding fine. I think it has a LOT to do with the prep & application...

Link dont work on my end but if you go to lowes you can get 3 different types

Peal and seal

blue seal

red back not 100% sure on the name but they should know what you are talking about.

But if it was me I would not waiste my time cause the amount you will have to use will cost you. just do it right the first time and get some second skin.

No, its not peel and seal. The stuff i linked is a duct insulation.

What im talking about is deck flashing, and its butyle based. Its made by Grace industries. A member told me about it before, and ive looked it up.

that stuff. Not sure if its sold at lowes(what i was told is they may have it soon)

but theres dealers of it. The problem is its only sold in 75' rolls

and im not sure of the price.

The link doesnt work. What is the product number at lowes? Also if I decide to go with the second skin what do I want the Damplifier or the rattle pad?
