Asphalt doesn't offer the same deadening properties as high quality butyl. It's crap. Knu Kolossus, SDS CLD, or STP Atlantic Gold are all great products and not all that expensive.

That stuff looks really similar to the STP Atlantic products, which performed well. We can't tell for sure without testing, though.

Roadkill is the best budget deadener, i use knu kolossus and its the best one ive used....roofing material is for roofing and is the worst for your car as are all other asphalt based materials as they smell abd dont hold up over time even with proper installation

i wouldn't consider roadkill a budget brand it is cheap but works just as good as dynamat or most other brands

I got some in my doors and roof no issue. Installed it about 4 years ago maybe cuz i only have a 500watt amp.

Roadkill didn't perform nearly as well as Knu, but it's still decent deadener for the price.
