Dynamat

Want to buy some dynamat. Dont need a ton but still a good amount to finish deadning the inside of my doors for a new set of comps that i plan to buy.

dont remember how much square feet id need bu two doors worth id say at least.

ONLY DYNAMAT nothing else.

Sorry if a lil off ur topic. But why only dynamat? Is it that much better than other deadeners?

No its not. I'd take alpha damp or audio technix over dynacrap any day

Whoa. Dynamat Extreme is some nice stuff! I would say just about on par with Second Skin maybe even the Pro stuff. But if I am gonna choice a deadner I am taking Audio Technix off tops. Best bang for the buck.

hahah no worries. i was actually going to explain in my original post, but didnt want to fill it up with useless info.

only taking dynamat cus its what i originally put through out the car. it's really not THAT big of a deal at all, but just to stay consistent with whats already in there, i figured id keep the dynamat going. plus its really not that much more i want to do right now (just the inside of the doors [which would matter even LESS].) but like i said, just to stay consistent. maybe a little too picky. but **** it. lol

Have u tried ebay? I mean most of the other good deadners you can get with no writing on it. I currently have Dynamat extreme in my car, with some FatMat RattleTrap, and some Audio Technix. Lol. No one sees it behind the panels.

yeah i think if i had to redo it or if i wouldve thought about it originally- i wouldve gone a different route. JUST because of the price. the dynamat i have in my car currently has stayed on all parts of the car perfectly. no falling off or pealing or anything. so im happy with it. its a little more pricey, but at the time i didnt wana experiment with other stuff. i did my friends car with like 60 sq ft of fat mat and it worked fine. ... to be COMPLETELY honest though, it was hard to stick it and it does peel off pretty easy compared to my dynamat. i had to go extra hard (and some heating in certain areas) to make sure it went on smoothly

thanks lol. i actually havent ever heard of audio technix. and have only tried a couple of second skin products.
