For the most part.

make sure you apply to as much trunk as possible, b/c if you dont you may stop rattles one place but then hear them in another

But also, by adding to much dynomat your truck lid may not be able to support itself and will just fall when you open it... I would worry about this later and get the trunk to stop rattling first.
