dynamat vs. hushmat?

I know he is a member here, I don't care. There is still way to much nutthugging of the brand and it has made it so they never get any of my money.
Nutthugging has not made Audio Technix. A great product for the cost and the customer service I provide is what has made Audio Technix.

The best part of this is the lack of knowledge. I love people who do multiple layers on top of each other thinking it actually helps.
When I replied to his email I did state that 2 layers is unnecessary.

I think it is extremely funny that you two are complaining about nutthugging while nutthugging.

I have clearly started that Audio Technix is not the best product on the market and I am not trying to hide this. I do believe that Audio Technix is an amazing product for the price. Not everyone can spend $5-$7 a sq ft for sound deadener. Whitedragon, you have still not shown me a truly better product that can be had for the same price or less.

I do suggest MLV to people all the time and have suggested CCF depending on what the customer is trying to accomplish. Not everyone needs MLV and CCF to achieve what they are trying to accomplish.

As for what the question this thread is about. I would go with Dynamat Extreme over Hushmat.

No where did I say anything about nuthugging in this thread.

I dont care about price either. Thats why I use the best on the market. I refuse to use a mediocre product. I believe in doing things right the first time around. FWIW I have over 120 sq ft of SS Damp Pro and Alpha Damp. Ive paid all of $60 for all of it. Superior product for less. Hope that helps.

Probably because you didn't for any of the deadener in your vehicle? amirite or amirite?

I'm not broke I don't need to go for ''bang for buck'' crap. It's not nut hugging stating that second skin is the best on the market when it's specs prove this
It's also not nuthugging when suggesting AT. The OP didn't say, "what's the hands down best deadener on the market", with people clamoring that AT was the top dog regardless of price. He simply asked which deadener was better between the two he listed, and people gave him other suggestions. What's wring with that besides the fact that the suggestions made didn't match your preferences?

Sounds like somebody is mad we aren't nuthugging the same brand he is

Just using your rationale. I used AT, Ensolite, and MLV...I don't have any issues with the 80 mil at all. It is good, does its job, and the price is right.

Also based on your rationale, you run Focal Utopia Be's because they cost the most and are the "best" on the market.

No I actually don't like the way the focal's sound. I'm actually trying to talk my way into some very rare very limited run drivers for my car. Besides the focal's arn't the most expensive you can buy 69,000 dollar mids

Oh and No your not using the same rationality, your trying to hyperbole what I said by going to an extreme.

seriously, i did not start this thread to cause any friction. frankly, let's face it there are products of all kinds that fit into the good, better, best model. obviously the closer you get to best the more you are going to pay. it is all based on the perceived need of the individual.

is there a way to lock the thread? sorry

And this is why my money is going to this guy... I'm not rich by any means... well more than likely I am compared to most of you... but after paying my ex wives the bank account doesn't look so good.
