dynamat vs. hushmat?

Fill me in on this b stock. I need a bunch.
Hit up Coleman he's selling it for like $40 + ship iirc. What makes it b-stock is it has the older adhesive that makes it hard to peel if it's hot out but it still works just as good

lol no you aren't, what you did do is make it so I will never buy and will always direct my friends away from the company
Not exactly sure what I did to make you feel that way but you obviously feel butthurt about it...

the way the ''fans'' shove it down your throat in every single deadener thread and make stupid claims. This thread hasn't had the stupid claims yet but plenty of hounding. It's just as bad as going to youtube and listening to the steve meade *******

How do I get in touch with this Coleman? I need around 200 sq feet.

Coleman is a vendor here and plenty of people use and love his product so I don't see the big deal of people suggest it. We aren't forcing anyone to use it, but compared to dynamat and hustmat AT would give you the best bang for your buck, and considering how the economy is at the moment and people still want to have fun with this hobby while remaining budget-friendly it only makes sense to go with the product that is going to fit your needs and not break the bank. I'm not saying second skin is a bad product however it is expensive and not everyone has a need for the top-of-the-line product.

Just sent him an email. For now if I can do 2 layers in my trunk and my inside and outside door skins I'm good to go.

gosh, i really didn't mean to start any drama, sorry for that....really.

anyways so i was going to go with the dynamat and the dynaxorb products in tandem. it is my understanding the dynaxorb is better than second skin. if audio technix is better than the dynamat i'll use that as well.

here's the deal, i am about to drop $850 on a pair of speakers and i am not going to 'go cheap' on the deadening.

i truly appreciate all of your input!

Dynaxorb is not anywhere near Second Skin or SDS (Sound Deadener Showdown). SS and SDS are the top two sound deadener companies on the market. If your not going to cheap on deadener then SS or SDS is where you need to look. You also need to look at closed cell foam and MLV if you plan on doing it right.

There we go! While AT is a fine product... if you wanna go out for top of the line stuff, SS and SDS are certainly the top 2. And like Whitedragon said, CCF and MLV are a must.
