dynamat quote for labor

one of the best car audio shops in town quoted me $150 to apply dynamat on my trunk AND front 2 doors (on 2dr coupe). the dynamat xtreme bulk pak is $150 shipped at onlinecarstereo so thats about 3 bills grand total. is this a fair price for just labor?

if i were you, i'd get some second skin or raamat instead and save your money. dynamat=overpriced.

but that doesn't seem to bad to me but that's if they do one hell of a job, and not just half-*** it or slap it on wherever.

most shops will charge $50-60 per hour for labor.

a trunk and 2 doors... 3 hours... Thats a good deal, if they use a good amount of material. lets say.... 30 feet in the trunk and 15 per door? Then yeah, good deal

If they say 8 feet on the lid and some around the speakers int he doors. then no. its a rip off.

Depends on how much you have for them to install.

its going into an honda civic 2 door and i advised them it was the dynamat bulk pack. how many layers u think i can do with that in the trunk or doors?

A bulk pack of Dynamat extreme will do a trunck and 2 doors pretty well. IF they are going to charge $150 for that, then you are in decent shape.

as most members on here...second skin is reccomended so its not like he's gotta make a name for himself...people choose other products then later regret not going with the cheaper better product.

He is buying the Dynamat extreme online, which is much cheaper than the retial price.

I think ebay has it for around...$125 shipped or so.
