Dynamat, Fatman & Peal N Seal... Which

I've used dynamat and fatmat, dynamat is expensive but works, the fatmat is cheap but doesn't stick well, great for the floor but fall's off everything else, liquid foam however does wonders for thos large empty cavities hehe

Spectrum V3 worked very well vs road and exaust noises. For the floor I would suggest using that, or another liquid deadener. You'll also want to do your doors with some type of deadener. For this I like to use mats instead of liquid.

I've tried peel n seal and it's not too thick, doesn't stick as well without heat and it's asphaultic based so it smells. Rammatt BXT is very pliable and sticky. Second Skin is good but it seems the aluminum sheet is thicker than Rammatt so it's a little less pliable but is as sticky.

I have not used second skin but I have spoken with Ant and his customer service REALLY shines....

I have Edead v1 and the v3 and I have no complaints, I plan buying some more for my trunk...

edead = economical

i don't know why people bash edead, what i've used so far has impressed me.
im not bashing it really take 1 layer of dyna mat extreme and one layer of the edead and smack the metal i think you would find layer per layer the dynamat is better so how can you say the edead is that much less expensive if you have to use twice as much?

I challenge to do exactly the same thing with eDead and SS Dampliier...

i never said anyone in particular on this thread was bashing edead, just in general, and yes i know edead is generic, but it is also alot less expensive than dynamat.
