DAMN it!!!! OK, I took out all my stuff to re-do my rear deck and trunk area. I left my subwoofers in their box IN THE GARAGE for a bout a day and a half... Kinda rainy outside. Anyways, I finally got everything done and now it doesnt "SEEM" as loud... I dont have as much excursion... Why would that be? I never touched the gains, nothing. Its all the same. One thing I did do was shock myself when I was installing it. I can still feel the electricity moving thru me. lol Noo it wasnt that bad, but still. Out of all the cars i've ever worked on at home, and at work.... i've never once shocked myself. I don't understand how people do it.

I was checking Christmas lights one year, didnt plug a set all the way in, and when I went to remove it, touched the prongs.

I like that feeling.

On topic, did you change anything on the deck? Did you double check gains, maybe they got messed with somehow.

I used to shock people in the nipple with a grill igniter. THey said it hurt like a *****.

At the amp or battery?

Grab a dmm and messure the votage on the speaker teminals on the amp and make sure they are reading correctly.

I just git back from DOUBLE and triple checking things. Gains are EXACTLY the same, everything on the HU is the same. check your wiring in the box, meter the subs, etc...

Ummm.... not that i know of... all PLUSES and all MINUSES are in the same slot for the 1ohm load. BUT I'll check tommorow.... Cuz its about 11 pm and the nightbors get cranky. But keep posting ideas, I'll check them all out early tommorow. 7am.
