DXZ545MP Probs

A friend of mine, has recently installed the Clarion DXZ545MP (the touch screen one) and we decided to test it out. Now, I burned two different cd's, a CD-RW and a CD-R. Both were filled with mp3s. Now, once I insert the cd, the unit displays a "File Read" message and doesn't change for a long time, before we finally give up and eject the cd. The unit works perfectly with normal cds also ones which I burned myself.

Does anyone have any idea which could solve my problem?

not calling you a noob but have you burned an mp3 cd with success before?

Lol, ok , I won't get offended then!

When you say with success, what way is there to test it? I have inserted the cd into my pc and it autoruns the contents as music files. What can I try them on?

try a dvd player.... most of them will read an mp3 cd

Allright, so if it works on the dvd player it should work with the HU right?

yes most likely... what program did you use to burn the cd?

Right, I tried the cd with a Pioneer dvd player and it worked perfectly.

I used Nero Express and selected Mp3 disc.
