DVD installation issues

I got the call today and I'm scheduled to install 2 dvd systems tommorrow.

One is a seperate hide away player and monitor and the other is an all in one roof mount unit.

Problem is that the vehicles have factory systems and The customers have not purchased RF modulators.

I work freelance for a local detailing shop, they get customers in wanting installs done and i get a call to come in and install it for a percentage of the bill, except in this case the appointments were made without the customers being made aware that they need RF modulators in order to have sound.

Do I just call the customers and get them to buy this extra piece?, or do I just install everthing and then when they ask why they have no sound explain to them that this extra component is needed?.

Or just beat the shit out of everbody and get then get fvcking shitfaced?, I get paid anyways.

Repeat bussiness is important so I need the best course of action here.

you go buy it and then charge them for parts and shipping (pickup). They want a complete DVD install.. meaning they want to be able to watch and LISTEN to a movie. Don't dick them over, they'll understand the extra parts. Just explain why you needed to do it.

Tell them before you install it. Trust me, tell them first.

If you don't, either:

They will make a big deal about paying ~$30 for a FM mod

OR

They will demand some sort of refund/compensation because they were not made aware of this

Tell them before the install...if they are cheap bastids, then tell them it really doesn't matter to you you'll install it without an FM mod, and have fun using the headphones //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

So beating the shit out of everyone and getting shitfaced is out of the question.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I will try to explain everything first then.

It turned out that one unit had the RF modulator built in. The other unit with the seperate DVD player and screen was interesting, the lady gave me a dummy cassette tape for plugging portable CD players into cassette players, so i just plugged it into the DVD headphone output on the back of the unit, then ran the wire behind the dash panels with just enough slack to eject the dummy cassette.

Everybodys happy.
