dvc sub help not in other thread

question on diagram for one 4 ohm dvc sub to get a 2 ohm load. it has positives and negatives connected right/ also i have the positie and negative from the same voicecoil going into the terminal the picture shows positive from one coil and negative from another is that they way to do it or is mine fine?

Do it like that. Positives together to amp. Negatives together to amp.

sorry hard to explaine look at the picture ull see that the positive and neg wire that run to the amp are from different voicecoils. positive is from one voice coil and the negative is from the other voice coil on the opposite side. i was running it with both positive and negative wires from just once voice coil(one side) was that wrong. i hope that is easier to understand

You are only using one voice coil then.

Run a wire from the + from one VC to the + on the 2nd VC. Then run a wire from the 2nd + terminal to the amp +.

Repeat with -.

Electrically they two things you are describing are the same. It was shown that way in the diagram to make the diagram more compact. Order doesn't matter in a parallel setup, which is what you have. As long as the two positives are connected to each other, and then connected to the amp and the same for the negatives, you're good to go. Where the wire going to the amp connects is irrelevant. I could draw you all kinds of diagrams that look different but will have the same effect.
