DVC Question

I did a pretty stupid move the other day and I bought the SWR-1222D. I only have one and the Alpine M605. I thought I would be able to run the 1222D at 2 ohms but I cant its either 1 or 4 ohms. Is there a way to run the sub on a single voice coil at 2 oms or would I have to get the SWR-1242D to run the amp at 2 ohms? And the amp is not 1 ohm stable.

no on running just one voice coil. Sub was made for both voice coils.

Why not try it at 1 ohm? I've bridged a 4 ohm stable (RF 200.2) down to 2ohm daily and it ran just fine. Just be easy on the gain (though the RF was ran at 3/4 daily //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif ). Won't know till you try
