Dust Cap Glue?

Hey folks, i managed to find a kid who had 4 Ascendant Assassin 10's. he sold em all to me for a rediculous price...and i couldnt pass it up. I tested them all out, and they are in great shape, except for one thing. Now i could tell this kid wasnt too bright, he didnt really know what he had...he said the subs were crap. I found out why he thought that...all the dustcaps were coming off, and rattling like crazy. So...im tryin to find out what kinda glue i should use to put em back on. they look in mint shape other than that...the kid said he only bumped em for a week before his amp was stolen. any info is much appreciated...

Go to a hobby shop and pick up some CA Glue...put it on where the dustcap contacts the cone and that bish wont come of again...

I believe some other stuff that works well is call goop. If you can't find the CA you should be able to pick this stuff up at a hardware store or such...

cyanoacrylate ftw!!! get the rubber toughened gap filling kind.

well not all 4, 1 was good. the other 3 had 1 with it almost all the way off, another was about a 2.5 inch opening, and the last one is barely noticeable...

if you can, carefully pull the dust cap all the way off. clean off old glue and put some new on it and hold it down for a while. if you do it without pulling them off most of the time there will still be a leak.
