dust cap cracked

i have 2 rockford fosgate p3 slims behind my seats and something hit the sub while it was playing so the dust cap is cracked and its not as loud anymore. could i get a new one? is it bad to play it still even though its cracked?

How large is the crack? I'm sure there is some kind of epoxy or something you could put over it and although it wouldnt be pretty, I'm sure we could fix it

the crack is pretty small. i just listened to it and it doesnt affect the sound really at all. i think maybe my system was just havin "one of those days" . ha but i just wanna make sure its not going to affect the life of the sub. i was just wondering if there are aftermarket dust caps i could throw on there. and mistergrubs i appreciate the offer. if i cant figure somethin out ill let you know.

Not unless you're reconing the sub bro...

Depends on what the cap is made of. I just went thru this myself. If it's poly, CA may not stick, and even if it does it could make the plastic brittle over time.

If it is in fact poly, look for Poly Zap. It's CA specifically for poly plastics..
