Im kinda new to this (usually just have a car audio shop pick and install for me while i wait in the store)

If i get a 12" btl 1 ohm, then a kicker ZX that runs 2500 at 1 ohm then thats what i need, the 2 version could be powered by a KX that runs 2500 at 2 ohms

i would just have to kick myself in the nuts if i went on what i thought and it was wrong

They have dual voice coils, which means you can not get a final load of 1 ohm for a DVC 1 ohm driver. It would be a 2 ohm load, or a .5 ohm load. DVC 2 would result in a 4 ohm load or 1 ohm load.

I believe the ZX also does its 2500w @ 2 ohms, so you would want a DVC 4 ohm version of that sub.
