i had to go to 4 different radio shacks to find an 80... walmart might have them... idk i don't shop there. or try the local car audio shop.haha wow (sorry about all that) alright so the 8 gauge says 60 and the 4 gauge says 80, what now?
yeah, but make sure you got an 80 amp fuse, if he had the 4 gauge running and he gave you his fuse holder/fuse just use that and re run it, then bump it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.giflol if your saying i need to get a fuse holder for the 4 gauge I have it already, he just gave it all to me. so do i just take out my old wire and replace it with 4 gauge?
ya thats what he did just gave it all to me, because he sold his subs but still had the wire in his car then his car broke down on him. Thanks for all the helpyeah, but make sure you got an 80 amp fuse, if he had the 4 gauge running and he gave you his fuse holder/fuse just use that and re run it, then bump it
yeah, you need the ground to be the same as the power wire... what kind of car are you running this in? just look for a spot close to where the amp is located... preferably somewhere on the chassis, or body of the car that is unnoticeable... floor of trunk, etc...ya thats what he did just gave it all to me, because he sold his subs but still had the wire in his car then his car broke down on him. Thanks for all the help
one more question should i go back and get that piece of wire that is said to be the ground wire? and if so where should that be hooked up at?
go to the bottom of the trunk with the ground... find an inconspicuous bolt, remove, sand the paint off (so the ring terminal is touching bare metal), and ground it therealright, its in a 2005 pontiac sunfire
thanks again
