ok well when i burn cds i have to turn my h/u volume around 39 or 41 for it to be decently loud and still the bass is lacking....now if i put a bought cd i can be happy with 36...my question is it ok for me to run my bass remote and when listing to those cds turn it up a little? or should i just turn the bass up on my h/u

Are you burning from MP3s?
Most likely the problem right there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
MP3s don't compress overal volume unless you're doing something very wrong (excluding high frequency content but that is irrelevant to this topic). //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

There's a ton of lossless stuff out there, but something tells me the OP isn't downloading that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
i dont get what u mean by lossless..... and ok so if its low quality is it ok for me to turn up the bass remote i dont even have it hooked up right now...now that i type it sounds dumb... but if its not goona hurt any thing all well
