while away at football camp this week. one of my friends and i got into discussion about car audio. this kid thinks he knows everything bc he has a f-250 and 4 10" RF P2 running off 2 RF P300.2. he told me that his amps push 900 watts apiece when bridged at 4ohms an i told him that was complete bullshit, an he is one of the types that is a strictly name brand guy, as in RF, JL, Alpine,ect... i asked him if he ever heard of DD, RE, SS, Treo, Adire. his response was, "umm, no, no, no, no, no" i jus had to get that off my chest about my dumb *** friend and wanted to know if anyone else has one these idiots for a friend. oh yea his bragging rights rely on a 170.3 at the local car audio shop, an i told him that number didnt mean shit bc it wasnt termlab but he still says it doesnt matter.

Why do you need to make fun of jim on here. Let him know about the amps true RMS output. It's on the birth sheets. He has some decent equipment, he just needs to be shown the actual facts.

I hit 172.8 with my roadmaster 5 wrms amp. and my 3.5" roadmaster 2 1/2wrms sub.

rf aint bad but I doubt he hit 170 anywhere.. .and he's just trapped in the mainstream matrix . . .just tell em the diff between rms and peak (although I know from experience a lot of people take it the wrong way and argue . because they think your trying to slam their setup). . .

I agree more with johnjt build something to outshine the brick building equipment thats he's using.
