It takes me hours to do a dubstep track, which...the GF does not appreciate. So I don't do it anymore.

i looked into amking the stuff, but all i could find for options was $600+ to get started in programming and loops, plus a bunch of free crappy stuff. has that changed? any free/cheap programs/ sounds. something i can plug into my midi keyboard?
