dual voice coil ?

well anyways, one of my friends had a 980... when there bridged there only 4 ohms minimum.... so you need to get a dual 2 ohm sub wired in series to get optimum power out of it.... but if you allready got the sub and its a dual 4 ohm coils then dont bridge the amp, just run the sub in parallel and run either ch1 or ch2

I think you meant to say a dual 2 ohm sub wired in series to get a 4 ohm load. Because a dual 2 wired in parallel would present a 1 ohm load.
