Dual Voice Coil Sub - how to wire to a single mono amp?

My 10" Sub has dual voice coils and 2 sets of binding posts but I am connecting it to a mono amp

Do I connect the binding posts together + to + and - to - and connect them to the amp or do I just drive one set of posts?

What ohm are your subs? Dual4 Dual2? What amp?

You must drive both voice coils (so wire both sets of posts) but depending on how you wire them it will change the ohm load that the amp sees. what sub and amp? then we can find the best way to wire it.

Wiring it will change how much power the sub sees. You want to make sure you do it right. What ohms are the voice coils and is your amp 1 ohm stable?
