Dual runs for amp

I am almost ready for my install, I am thinking on dual runs for the amp. My question is do I need to do dual runs to the back battery to have dual runs from that battery to the amp?

In my opinion if you didn't run dual from the front battery to the back battery then it wouldn't help to do it from the back batt to the amp. Chime in peeps if I'm wrong.

I go with this rule also.

I have two positives for my bass amp so I have two positive runs everywhere else also.
