a friend of mine has 2 of these subs and only maybe 700 rms

was wondering what would be an ideal box for these as i have no experience with these

thnx but he has 1/2 the power they r rated at going to them

so i was wondering if anyone had an idea on the box as i believe a bigger box then what they recomend will work better for his needs

i would just put 1 of them in 3.5 cubes @ 30-34hz and call it a day. sounds like you already know about compensating for less power by giving it a bigger box, but it seems like kind of a waste to take up 8-9 cubes of space, when you could get similar results from a single sub in under 4 cubes, off the same power.

I would put them in 18 cubes tuned to 31hz.
