Okay, while working on my brothers computer I noticed task manager shows 2 cores (or CPU's) but its a single CPU single core P4 2.4ghz.. tell me you see something wrong with this?

if it has hyperthreading it wil do that. that was the point of hyperthreading. i said the same thing when i had my 3.4E.

EDIT: hyperthreading is suppose to multitask better. the OS sees two virtual processors and it shares the workload, but there is only one core. so its like a broken down dual core

Ohh yeah, I forgot about HT.. lol. and yes 52 processes, but that included task manager and paint :p
haha im running 80 right now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

80 isint that much ether.. when I did Vista RC2 beta's i had about 110-120 running daily.. but that was with a AMD Athlon 64X2 4200+ (overclocked to 2.6Ghz) with 2gb ram and a PCI-E eVGA 8600GT
