i have been racking my brain to figure out where to put a second batt in my 06 silverado, and i have discovered that there is a second batt tray and holder you can order from gm and mount it under you hood. for you guys who want to know the part number and stuff it is i will post it below. and this stuff all costs only around $30-40 depending on how bad your gm dealership rips you off. lol or you can probably pic them up at a salvage yard for cheaper.

that is a newer model truck. The factory battery is in the rear corner if looking in. But basicaly the same setup. 99-07 classics have the battery on the drivers side where the stinger was added here. The other tray for diesels puts the extra battery in the pass rear corner. You can also get the factory solenoid and wiring for it from gm too

In the first gen. S-10 the batt. is in the same spot just on the pass. side. you can pull out the vapor canister (Located where your 2nd is) and place a second batt. right there...It take one little plate, welded to the inner fender and your golden (10min of work)

Yours looks great man, nice and clean
