Dual 8" Assassin Box - pics

Since I've seen a lot of posts about the 8" baby Assassins lately figured I'd post a few pics of the box I did for the GF's car. I had stopped out at AA about a month ago to get a 2nd pair of poly mids and saw the 8's and just HAD to get a few.

She's very happy with the sound and also getting a ton of trunk space back. Box is the AA "spec" box which is around 1.2^3 @40Hz.

Trunk space was the major consideration, so sub is all the way forward firing through the rear seat opening. Powered by a PG Octane R15, so about 400watts per sub. I can hear her coming down the block when she cranks em up. Amazing little subs, especially for the $$$.

niiice. i got mine in yesterday.

how do they do in thier 'spec' box? i have mine sealed and it seems lacking on the upper end.

I think they sound very good in the "spec" box, although I hate the coax's in my GF's car.... dB650's.

For 2 budget 8's they get respectably loud and blend very nicely, not overpowering, but not understated either. SQ is very good and on certain songs they will shake the rearview mirror decent.
