Ok this is gonna sound a little noob but come on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif....

I was searching around but I couldn't find any information, I just wanted to know whats the difference between a dual 2 and a dual 4 subwoofer...

I know that dual 2 can be wired to 1 or 4 ohms amp

and also a dual 4 can be wired to a 2ohm amp

I just want to know if there is any other difference like sound or IDK...

Thanks...

Not much really. Different impedences are meant so that you can wire differently when having DVC and QVC coils. Generally speaking, a higher impedence, such as 4 ohms instead of 1 ohm, would be better on the amp since it would be running a bit more efficiently. So if you can run the sub at its optimum power handling at a higher impedence, I'd go with that. If you look at the t/s parameters of a dual 2 and dual 4 sub, you will also notice that they are slightly different as well. Other than that, I don't think there are any differences.
