dual 2 ohm or 4 ohm?

im buying two subs and wiring them to a mono amp and i was wondering why more people seem to buy dual 4 ohm subs than 2 ohm?

if i wired up both subs up to my amp using 2 ohm speaks i could get a 2 ohm load and my amp would be able to push my subs way better than at a 4 ohm load right?

cuz with the dual 4s can wire to 1 ohm, and more amps put out the most power at 1 ohm not all though. check this to see how to wire woofers

4 ohm subs can be wired to 4 ohms or 1 ohm

2 ohm subs can be wired to 2 ohms or .5 ohms

1ohm>2ohm

If that's the case buy 2 DVC 2 ohm subs.

ya with that amp you want to get the dual 2s and wire to 2ohm.

what sort of kicker amp could i use to get a 1 ohm load?

im looking and they all say unstable

why you set on 1 ohm? if your amp puts out the power your subs need at 2 ohm your straight.

well im getting 450w RMS subs and only a 750w RMS amp at 2ohms...so it will be underpowering
