Dual 12" box, into Single 12

I currently have two 12's, and am thinking of going to a single 12 set up. I have around a 4 cube box, and was wondering if, instead of building a new box, I could just cover up one mounting hole, and still have the box perform well? I am not an experienced box builder, and do not really want to pay another $100 for another box...

yea you can. but i duno i think 4 cubes is kinda big for a single 12 but if you can get a sub that likes 4 cubes, do it. you can also stick slugs of wood inside to make the volume you wnat

well its possible, but you need the enclosure reccomendations. maybe call/email them?

sure, just wall off like a cubic foot or two off the box.

You can cover up the other hole and add the aero ports where you choose.
