Dual 10" "doubleshot" box log

I just realized I don't have any building logs on here.So I figured what the hell for this box.

This is something "similar" to the "doubleshot".And yes, I designed it for anyone wondering.It's for 2 10's.I needed to try a new little formula out so I decided to build this test box.If it works out good I'll probably end up selling it.Also, just a note I do build enclosures.My sig. keeps getting deleted, but most of you know what I do.

I'm going to try and get some/most done tonight.So I'll update with new pics a little later.

So far the wood is cut, so here's a shot of that.All the cuts are straight.But some might look off in the pic.But every time I moved a piece over just a little I ended up moving another too far, etc. so on and so forth.Which is due to my patience (or lack thereof).Perfectionist and lack of patience don't go together.The final size will be 32" x 18" x 12 1/2"

Ok, who the **** am I kidding.It basically is a double shot.Exact same thing pretty much.John just cuts the slant a little differently in the "new" ones.

A Ryobi BT3100 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif The guys at http://www.bt3central.com sold me on it.Good saw once you set it up right.

Ripped the sheet of MDF in half with a circular saw and a straight edge and used the table saw from there.

Looking good. We need more worklogs like this and less of these pitter patter box building threads. You know what I'm talking about, "Thinking about building such and such box, thinking about porting to this and this hz, what will I need to build such and such box, will this type of box increase my SPL?, etc etc etc.... More action and less talk like this good fellow here Mountaineer Man.

Well, to be honest with you, no.

All the "transmission line" "rear horn" "folded rear horn" etc. that john or whatever his fanboys like to call it is all bullshit.But it still uses the 1/4 wave thing to its advantage.And despite what the fanboys say, it does have a tuning //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif And it is based off of cubic feet lol.If you're serious about these boxes I can give you some info privately.But until then we'll keep it a mystery to those who don't know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

BTW: I know I haven't posted pics yet.I haven't really gotten to do anything today.I ended up having to work a lot longer than I thought I would.They moved a deadline on us up by a week.
